President - STEMheads
Liam is 12 years old and goes to school in Davis County Utah. He is an accomplished musician playing both electric guitar and bass guitar in multiple bands for the past four years. Liam has a strong desire to help those children that have not been given the opportunities to further expand their education and career paths. Liam worked with his parents and the Utah Manufacturers Association for the past two years to develop STEMHeads. STEMHeads is a non-profit organization working to help educate tomorrow’s leaders in STEM related fields and to provide scholarships to underrepresented children helping them develop the skills and opportunities to succeed in life.

Along with supporting STEMheads, Josh serves as Director of Government Affairs for Rio Tinto Americas, Rio Tinto Kennecott, and Resolution Copper. For the past ten years, he has managed and supported Kennecott’s governmental needs for county, state and federal leaders. Focus of work has had a strong emphasis on policy, land/water, environment, energy, and regulation. He joined Rio Tinto in 2006 at Kennecott Utah Copper as a member of the Business Improvement team. During that time, he has served as a manager of Business Improvement, Master Black Belt at various Rio Tinto business units, Six Sigma/Lean Instructor, and special projects leader. Josh holds a BS in Chemical and Fuels Engineering from the University of Utah, a Master of Business Administration from Westminster College, and a certified Business Improvement Six Sigma Blackbelt.

Becky is passionate about changing lives for the better by providing pathways to opportunity. She currently works for WGU in the capacity of designing and building disruptive innovations to accelerate WGU’s mission to ensure learners from any background can achieve their dreams for educational advancement. She has actively participated in the popular Expanding Your Horizons conference which seeks to inspire girls to explore a career in STEM and use their talents to make Utah a better place. Previous to WGU, Becky served as the Director of Operations for L3Harris where she drove break-through performance in business operations. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Utah and an MBA from Westminster College. She has 20+ years of experience in corporate development, product innovation, strategy deployment, and operations management. Becky has been active in Utah economic development activities by serving as chair and executive board member for the Utah Manufacturers Association as well as board member of the SL Chamber’s Women’s Leadership Institute.

Todd has been the President/CEO of Utah Manufacturers Association since 2012. Before that he was the President/CEO of the Utah Manufacturers Association. He has extensive association background, experience and leadership, continued and ongoing credibility with business/industry, and broad public policy experience as well other unique qualifications which allow him to continue advancing the manufacturing industry in the state of Utah. He has a longstanding career in association management and administration, governmental affairs and public relations, lobbying, public policy and marketing in the business/industry community. He is committed to the value of Utah’s business and industry associations and their essential and vital nature in protecting and improving the economic climate and environment in the state.
