MEET THE TEAM

Liam Brown

President - STEMheads

Liam is 14 years old and goes to school in Davis County Utah.  He is an accomplished musician playing both electric guitar and bass guitar in multiple bands for the past four years.  Liam has a strong desire to help those children who have not been given the opportunities to further expand their education and career paths.  Liam worked with his parents and the Utah Manufacturers Association to launch STEMHeads in 2020.  STEMHeads is a non-profit organization working to help educate tomorrow’s leaders in STEM-related fields and to provide scholarships to underrepresented children helping them develop the skills and opportunities to succeed in life. 

Josh Brown

Co-Founder, STEMheads

Josh Brown serves as the COO for the Utah Manufacturers Association. He has a strong breadth of knowledge in manufacturing, mining, energy, regulatory, environment, and natural resource policy. Josh brings a unique, real-world application of manufacturing both in the hands-on operations and external policy/regulatory impacts.

Before UMA, Josh worked at Rio Tinto for nearly 18 years managing government affairs and leading land and water development.

Prior to mining, Josh worked in food processing and medical device manufacturing gaining expertise in process engineering, new product development, design patents, regulatory compliance, and business improvement.

Josh holds a BS in Chemical and Fuels Engineering from the University of Utah, a MBA from Westminster University, and a certified Business Improvement Six Sigma Master Blackbelt.

Becky Marquette

Co-Founder, STEMheads

Becky is passionate about changing lives for the better by providing pathways to opportunity. She is a chemical engineer by trade with over 25 years of experience in operations and leadership at L3Harris as well as education and business development at Western Governors University. She is currently a career coach for Engineering students at the University of Utah.

Her career has been shaped by a passion for innovation, mentorship, and leadership development. She is deeply committed to empowering the next generation of leaders, particularly in underrepresented communities. 

Beyond her professional work, Becky has been actively involved in Utah’s economic and educational initiatives, previously participating in the Expanding Your Horizons conference for girls, serving as chair and executive board member for the Utah Manufacturers Association and is an active advisory board member of the Women’s Leadership Institute.

Todd Bingham

Director, STEMheads

 Todd is the President and CEO of the Nebraska Chamber with an extensive association background. Before joining the Chamber, Todd was the President and CEO of the Utah Manufacturers Association, a leading industry organization with a 120-year legacy of advancing Utah’s manufacturing sector. Under his leadership, the association provided critical resources, advocacy, and strategic initiatives to drive growth and prosperity for manufacturers across the state. His experience and leadership continue to provide ongoing credibility with business and public policy while advancing the manufacturing industry. He is committed to the value of education and its impact in driving innovation through the adoption and creation of new technologies that drive manufacturing forward. Todd is the father of three wonderful sons and two incredible grandsons.
